Butch Von Weller
Founder & Chairman Emeritus
H.J. "Butch" von Weller is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Florida, where he earned a degree in finance and banking. Following his term in the Army, Butch gained valuable experience as an Assistant Project Manager with a prominent general contractor. During the construction boom in Central Florida spurred by the opening of Walt Disney World, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of commercial swimming pools for Tuttle/White Constructors.
In 1974, Butch embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding Weller Pools. Under his visionary leadership, the company flourished and evolved into one of the nation's most successful commercial pool and water park contractors. Butch's unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget has been a cornerstone of Weller Pools' success.
Even today, Butch remains actively involved in the company's operations as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, providing invaluable guidance and expertise gained from decades of industry experience.
